 Singer Kang Daniel Reports Theft of Costumes, Props Before San Jose Show

K-pop star Kang Daniel has revealed that a number of his belongings were stolen as his team prepared for a concert in San Jose, California. The theft occurred shortly after his Los Angeles performance as part of his ongoing U.S. world tour. 


What Happened

According to multiple reports, burglars broke into a vehicle used by Kang Daniel’s crew—one meant to transport equipment and performance necessities. Among what was stolen: his stage costumes, hair and makeup supplies, and even the merchandise goods (often referred to as “MD goods”). 

Kang Daniel himself addressed fans via Instagram, writing:

> “All our stuff got stolen. They took everything — costumes, hair and makeup supplies, even the MD goods.” 

He also added a message of positivity:

“But let’s still have a fun show, lol. I’m okay.” 


Response from the Team

Despite the setback, Kang Daniel’s team acted quickly:

They visited a nearby shopping mall to buy replacement supplies so the show in San Jose could go on. 

Though the situation caused stress and an embarassment as per an agency official, the performance was carried out successfully, albeit with some adjustments. 


Tour Details

This incident is part of Kang Daniel’s U.S. “Act” world tour, which includes about 12 cities such as Washington, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. After the U.S. leg, the tour is scheduled to continue in South America, with stops planned in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City.
